Crystal of the Month | Citrine | November
Natural citrine is actually quite rare, as a result a lot of it available on the market is heat-treated amethyst. This is because amethyst under a lot of heat and pressure becomes citrine naturally so man-made or heat-treated citrine is just speeding this process up unnaturally. You can tell the difference quite easily because natural citrine is a paler yellow to champagne colour sometimes with brown tones, where heat-treated amethyst is more of a burnt dark orange. Natural citrine is often much more expensive and less common too. Citrine is a beautiful sunny crystal, one of my personal favourites.

I don't have a lot of citrine currently unfortunately, just the crystal chip bracelets and earrings. I do get it in as often as I can though so keep your eyes peeled because it usually sells quite quickly. Come back November 21st for my Sagittarius blog post and December 1st for my next crystal of the month blog post.
